Command Conquer Renegade For Mac

First off, I'm new to the whole porting thing, I've been using mac for a while now, but would like to get into porting games myself. I've been a C&C Renegade addict for as long as the game has been released, thats about 6 years now I think, and ever since I switched to mac, I play it via Bootcamp, however, I was wondering, as this is a fairly small game, if it would be possible to port this game? Does anyone have any experience with porting Renegade? Could you guys get me started or help me out?

Their website: In short, Renegade X is a free multiplayer Tactical FPS game where you start with either the Global Defensive Initiative (GDI) or the Brotherhood of Nod. Both factions have their own unique set of weapons, characters and vehicels. The ultimate goal is to destroy the enemy base in order to win, or be the team with the highest score when the time has ran out. The game encourages teamwork, for example it is better to go with a small army of Flame Tanks to attack the GDI base. Another example of teamwork in this game is to buy an engineer and help healing your allies tanks during combat. The game is entirely free and is currently for PC only.
